ActiveQuote does the double at insurance awards!
We’re celebrating success after scooping Legal & General’s Customer Excellence award - for the second year running!
We’re delighted to have been named the winner at L&G’s Business Quality Awards 2020 last week. As well as picking up the prestigious customer service award for the second consecutive time, we also received special recognition in the Data Precision Award at the glamorous ceremony, held in central London.
L&G’s annual awards celebrate exceptional customer care and retention in the protection insurance sector, following the analysis of customer service statistics and quality metrics. Senior product development manager James Howell said: “We are thrilled to scoop the award for Customer Excellence again.
“The award is testament to the hard work and dedication of our customer service team, as well as the sales team, who work tirelessly to help customers make the right decision for them when it comes to protection insurance. Winning for two years in a row against some of the best protection insurance companies in the UK is just the icing on the cake!”
Now in their ninth year, L&G’s Business Quality Awards recognise firms which have shown a proven commitment to putting customers at the heart of their business. Along with our fellow winners, we were judged on a combination of business performance metrics and submission-based criteria.
ActiveQuote head of sales Sarah Sancho said: “The Legal & General Awards are renowned in the protection insurance market awards calendar, so to be shortlisted was reward enough, but to win again in such an important category is amazing. I am extremely proud of my team and the hard work they put in every day to give the best service to our customers.”
2020 is set to be an exciting year for ActiveQuote, following our expansion onto another floor at our Cardiff Bay headquarters. We are also increasing our team by 25%, with 40 vacancies across all departments to support the increase in enquiries we’ve managed since being chosen by MoneySuperMarket to power its private medical insurance comparison service last year.
Founded in 2009, ActiveQuote was the first comparison service to compare health insurance policies in the UK and allows customers to tailor-make their policies by adding or removing options such as hospital cover and physiotherapy. We are now the UK’s leading comparison website and broker of health and protection insurance products, including private medical insurance, income protection, life insurance and critical illness cover.
